Make over

I'm sorry I haven't made blogpost in a while (again!) but I've just been dealing with me and my emotions and it's hella tiring. I haven't been able to concentrate or go to school and I have moments when I just feel like I could fall through the earth because of some big ass brick I feel in my stomach. Some days are better than others but the feeling never goes away. I'm hoping it will. If it was only a little bit of a sad feeling that you could get rid of by crying and getting a hug from your boyfriend. But it's not. This is a different kind of sadness, something I've never felt before. On the really bad moments it's almost immobilizing. And I worry. I worry about not being able to do my exams in June because I can't concentrate for the life of me. I worry that I'll keep feeling this feeling for ever. I worry that my boyfriend will dump/cheat on me because I have massive fear of abandonement issues right now. Most of the time I just feel one of those worries but when they all come together it SUCKS BALLS. Luckily I think my boyfriend loves me so that's one thing. But the rest is still scary. Now I will awkwardly change this depressing post into a hair post. Life is awkward sometimes. I can't give my poor readers depressing posts and no eyecandy!

After having my awesome and eternally flattering bob-haircut for two years in a row (which is a long time for me, I've been switching haircuts and lengths a lot since I turned twelve or something) I started lusting after short hair again. I'm always lusting after short hair. There's something about it, if it's the right short cut that frames a face the right way... I find it incredibly attractive. Haircuts like these always make me want to chop my hair immediately:

I want to marry the Michelle Williams picture. How adorable is she?! Anyhoo, I don't keep lusting very long. I'm a do-er! So peoples, here is my new 'do!

I'm so happy with it, I found an awesome new hairdresser thanks to my sister and he did an amazing job. It's exactly what I asked for and I feel awesome with it. And I still have enough hair to play around with my signature bright hairdyes! How do you feel about short hair? Padapapapa, are you lovin' it? :-D Also, check out my awesome eye make-up!:

My 100 shadow palette is one of the best things ever. And a little tip for girls who want to chop their hair but are afraid of what their boys are going to say: they'll nag before you go to the hairdresser but when you come back they'll just love the fact that they can see your face even better. :-D

Romantic Punk

I'm a little tired and very content! My sister, my mom, my boy and me went to the monthly sales at our favorite vintage shop in Antwerp, Think Twice. Everything for 2 euro. I think I got 12 items or something. :-D One coat, one leather coat, 3 skirts, 3 dresses, one cardi, 3 jumpers.. yep that seems about right. Now I don't have to go shopping for the upcoming winter anymore. Maybe some boots at the sales but other than that I'm completely good! Everything fits like a dream and I got everything I needed! Warm jumpers, wool skirts, a very thick, slightly oversized coat (so that I can wear a jumper underneath the coat too!), 3 gorgeous dresses (two of them very holiday spirited!), I'm so happy. After we came back from Antwerp I went to the post office to send a little package to my niece in the U.S. who turned twelve this November (shame on me for not sending her a gift earlier!). Now I'm gonna watch some stupid TV program and drink a big cup of mint tea with honey! And maybe some potato salad. See ya laters, alligators! OH and I will be posting pics of my new clothes soon!

Color me Turquoise

More colors, different colors! This time I wanted to use my turquoise dye with my red and green and I'm absolutely loving it. If you could choose between every color of the rainbow, what color(s) would your hair be? Blue? Yellow? Orange with leopard print? (yup, you can do that) or maybe raven black or auburn reddish brown? Or EVERY color of the rainbow? :-D

having bright hair is freaking awesome. Just sayin'.

Aftercurls

This was what I wore the day after we went to WWRY. See my hacked up Queen shirt? :-D My hair was still pincurly (I'm curly right now actually!) so I wanted to take full advantage of it and take some pictures. They're more flat and messy than the day before but I still loved it. I also love the way the curls bring out my haircolors. The day before I took these pictures (the day we went to WWRY) the weather was absolutely lovely and almost warm. The day I took these pictures it was pretty cold. Also, the bottomlid of my left eye was a little swollen and red because I accidentally scratched myself in the eye :-(. Seriously, I'm the clumsiest person I know. Who the hell scratches themselves in the eye?! I AM ASHAMED. No not really, I laughed about it with my boyfriend afterwards but still, it hurt! I do stuff like this quite often. I once or even twice woke up with my nosepiercing missing because I accidentally pulled it out of my nose in my sleep. After it happened two times, I bought the piercings with the twisty end so I can't just pull it out. I used to bite my tongue and my lower lip a lot too but once I started eating more slowly I rarely do that anymore. I don't think I will ever wear stiletto's out of fear of breaking my foot or something because really, if anyone can, it's me.

A little sidenote: I'm very happy that, while we had a crappy ass summer here in Belgium, we're having an amazing indian summer. I've hardly had to wear a scarf or a thick winter coat and I love it. Still, I'm not liking the fact that it gets dark SO freaking early. Why can't it just get a little colder, a bit rainier if you must, but not more dark! I don't like darkness. :-(  Anyhoo, I hope your fall is as gorgeous as ours and I hope you like my outfit! LATERZ!
